Gossip girl

In class this week I read a book called gossip girl. This book is fun to read but there is no (great writing). I made the same mistake last time I read a book, it was a good book but it didn't have that quality writing that I was looking for.

This book is easey to relate to, it's all about the drama and gossip of school and the struggle of homework and social life. This is like the situation some people are in. All though this book is pretty extreme I enjoy it, as you can see it gets funny, like when people are fighting over useless small details.

This book is not what I wanted it to be, if I could change it I would add some skilled writing. I am not going to continue reading this but I will be looking for books to read.

Bossy Pants #2

This book just keeps getting funnier every page. And knowing that it is all real makes it even better! Just to recap this book is a autobiography of Tina Fay. It tells of stories from her early child hood to about 2010. My favorite part of the book so far was when she wrote about her second city acting group. I really like this part because of the people in her group, especially Amy Poehler. This part of the book was written with a lot of description about this period and you can tell that some of the skits influence her personality and her shows. This book for some strange reason is enjoyable to read but there isn't a lot of skilled writing in it. This book is a easy book to read and I do recommend it but I wish it had more components to write about it. Im almost done and am ready to start a new book.        

Bossy Pants by Tina Fey

Bossy Pants by Tina Fey. This book is so funny, I knew it would be right when I heard about it. This book is an autobiography of her life, her storys are almost like they aren't real they are so funny. I really like this book because I like any thing that is funny, movies, tv shows, books, radio... One of the main reasons I like this book is because in the book she is around my age (in the part of the book I am in at least)  Another reason I like this bok is that its by one of my favorite actresses, if someone had me read it and i didn't know who it was by i could tell it was Tina Fey. Im only a couple chapters in so ill post when i get farther.

Throne Of Fire #2

I've gotten much farther in the book and have some new thoughts, I never have really noticed that the story is told almost like they are in a recording studio, every once in a while some thing like, ( oh stop laughing Carter ) will come up. Also every chapter Carter and Sadie pass the " mic " around. Because this happens you get a nice perspective on either 2 different things or 2 perspectives on the same thing. One thing I really like about Rick Riordan is he mixes the past with real things in the present. Sorry for the lack of length, I need a more interesting book when I finish this one.

The Throne Of Fire

Right now i am reading The Throne of fire. This book is a sequel to The Red Pyramid, I very much enjoyed the first one and have just started the second one.

 I chose to read this and the first book because I really enjoyed the Percy Jackson books. The characters are the same as last book, I have always liked them because they are around my age and they always tell the important things and not the unnecessary details. I read this book because the action starts on the first page and doesn't end until the last page. It's not like I can't put it down but it's nice to read when I have nothing to do. So far I like it.  I've only read like 15 pages but it is good already. Not much else I can say so I will post again when I have read more.
