I've gotten much farther in the book and have some new thoughts, I never have really noticed that the story is told almost like they are in a recording studio, every once in a while some thing like, ( oh stop laughing Carter ) will come up. Also every chapter Carter and Sadie pass the " mic " around. Because this happens you get a nice perspective on either 2 different things or 2 perspectives on the same thing. One thing I really like about Rick Riordan is he mixes the past with real things in the present. Sorry for the lack of length, I need a more interesting book when I finish this one.

ReplyDeleteDo you feel like you have to finish a book that isn't interesting? I'm always curious about what other readers do. I always feel committed to read the end if I've devoted enough time to the book. I can remember the first book that I decided not to keep reading (that I chose to read). It was such an unusual event. Now I'm a little more choosey about what characters I spend my time with. What do you do? Do you feel like you have to finish every book you start?
